"Will Nano succeed in these tough economic situations?" This was a was a news article in one of the portals debating whether TATA NANO will suceed in these tough economic conditions. The timing of the launch could not have been more perfect, imagine this, u are a first time car buyer( the targeted middle class) and you are in need of one, not as a luxary product but as a necesssity, you had a long term plan to buy a car in 2008 or 09, may be you planned to buy a santro or a zen. But that was before the so called recession scenario set in. Now you are not sure of getting the hike you thought you would get, but you still need a car... so you finally end up searching for the most value-for-money in the family car segment, the Maruthi 800 would still bite a big chunk from ur budget, forget the Santro. So here comes the TATA NANO with a price tag arround Rs.1.2 lakhs, a perfect fit for ur budget and fills ur necessity......
Still think it would be tough for TATAs to sell NANO???
